RIYADH: During a Cabinet meeting on Tuesday, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman gave everyone peace of mind on King Salman’s health.
The crown prince begged for God to give the monarch a quick recovery and thanked everyone who enquired about his health.
The goals of the crown prince’s initiatives to promote women in cybersecurity and safeguard children online were also commended by cabinet ministers. The two projects were started in 2020.
At the Global Cybersecurity Forum last week in Riyadh, the crown prince recently emphasised the advancements made by these initiatives, stating that they enable decision-makers globally to create cybersecurity policies and plans.
The Cabinet also conveyed support for the people of Palestine and Lebanon and received updates on regional and global events. It urged the international community to take on its obligations to uphold regional security and stability and carry out UN resolutions.
The results of the Global Coalition to Defeat Daesh Ministerial, which was held in Washington at the end of September to commemorate the coalition’s tenth anniversary of formation, were warmly received by the Cabinet. It reaffirmed the Kingdom’s opposition to terrorism, extremism, and all forms of funding for it.
