Malaysia, Kyrgyzstan, and Indonesia all Host lavish iftar Meals hosted by Saudi Arabia

As part of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ iftar program for Ramadan 1446 AH, the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance threw a lavish Ramadan iftar dinner in Solo, Central Java Province, Indonesia, on Friday. Over 20,000 fasting people attended the 2,800 square meter event, including 20 local eateries working together to prepare meals.

The ministry supplied necessary equipment, including as rain shelters, ambulances, a cleaning and operations staff, and a security detail to control crowds and plan meal distribution, to guarantee the attendees’ comfort and safety. For those observing Ramadan, the ministry also threw an iftar feast in the Central Mosque of Imam Sarakhsi in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.

Participants highlighted the impact of the iftar program on the Muslim community and conveyed their sincere gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. As part of the ongoing Ramadan campaign, the ministry in Malaysia also organized an iftar feast on Friday in Kuala Lumpur.

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques is implementing its iftar program in 61 nations this year to help Muslim communities, ease their responsibilities during Ramadan, and participate in the celebration of the holy month. Along with planning religious and cultural events, the ministry’s endeavors also include distributing Quranic texts and dates.
