We recently had the privilege of interviewing Suheel Ahmad Mir, Head of Sales, and Vijay Sheth, Director of Miltec Rugged Computing Solutions, the Middle East’s trusted provider of rugged field computing solutions since 2005.

Early Life And Educational Background
We first asked, “Could both of you please provide us with some information about yourself, including your early life and education?”
Suheel Ahmad Mir shared, “I have always been passionate about technology and business, which led me to pursue an MBA. With over 12 years of experience in the rugged computing industry, my journey began as an intern at Third Wave Rugged India, the sister company of Miltec Rugged Computing Solutions. After my internship, I joined Snapdeal, where I worked as an Assistant Marketing Manager for two years. I then transitioned into sales and joined Miltec. This role has allowed me to contribute significantly to the growth and regional expansion of the company.”
“I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, specializing in Accounting and Economics, from HL College of Commerce. My career began as a partner at The Moving Pixels Company, where I built a solid foundation in business and management. Today, I am the Director of Hornbill Rugged Networks, overseeing operations in Singapore, UAE, India, Israel, Indonesia, and Malaysia.” Vijay added.

Vijay Sheth shared, “In 2007, we co-founded Miltec Rugged Computing Solutions in the UAE with our late partner, Syed Noorul Huda. Initially, our goal was to meet the region’s growing demand for advanced rugged technology, especially in sectors like defense, public safety, government, and utilities.
