More Than 6,000 Food Aid Packages are Sent by KSrelief

This Ramadan, the Etaam project will help 2.3 million people in total. RIYADH: The Saudi Press Agency said Monday that KSrelief, a Saudi humanitarian organization, has sent 6,195 food packages to some of the world’s poorest individuals. As part of the Etaam Ramadan food basket distribution operation, 1,000 packages were sent to Zabre, Burkina Faso, giving 6,000 people food. In the meantime, 565 households in Nouakchott, Mauritania, received relief, and about 3,390 people benefited from 80 packages supplied to Peqin, Albania.

3,800 parcels were received by 3,800 families in the Pakistani provinces of Balochistan, Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan, resulting in the feeding of over 29,000 individuals. Additionally, 250 packages were sent to residents in Nawabganj, Bangladesh, and 500 were sent to Conakry, the capital of Guinea. At a cost of more than SR67 million ($17.866 million), the fourth phase of the Etaam project intends to provide 390,109 food packs to 2.3 million people in 27 countries during Ramadan, according to SPA.
