Within the context of modern Islamic challenges, Al-Issa, who is also the chairperson of the Council of Muslim Scholars, addressed a number of subjects.
On Friday, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, the secretary-general of the Muslim World League, led worshippers in prayer at the Grand Mosque in Kigali, the capital city of Rwanda. He also delivered a lecture at the mosque.
Al-Issa, who is also the chairwoman of the Council of Muslim Scholars, delivered a sermon in which he addressed a number of modern Islamic challenges. Additionally, he expressed his congratulations to worshippers on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, according to the league.
As part of his speech, he also discussed the fundamental Islamic principles that Muslims should adhere to when interacting with other people. He characterised these principles as reflections of the high moral standards that the Prophet Muhammad advocated for.
