Over SR87 Billion is Traded Between Saudi Arabia and Arab League Nations

JEDDAH According to country groupings, Saudi Arabia’s commerce with Arab League countries, including those in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), was over SR87.7 billion in the fourth quarter of 2024. About SR510.9 billion, or 17.2% of Saudi Arabia’s overall commerce with all nations worldwide, is represented by this trade. Compared to the same period in 2023, when it was almost SR82.6 billion, this indicates a yearly growth rate of 6.2%, with a rise of more than SR5 billion.

Saudi Arabia’s trade surplus with Arab League nations, including the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), topped SR30.46 billion in the fourth quarter of 2024, according to the General Authority for Statistics’ quarterly International Trade Bulletin. In 2023, the same period saw a surplus of roughly SR22.18 billion. According to SPA, this amounts to a 37.3% yearly rise, surpassing SR8.27 billion.

About SR59.11 billion was the overall value of Saudi Arabia’s exports, of which SR39.5 billion went to GCC nations. This amounts to about 14.2% of the country’s total exports to all nations, which came to about SR277.9 billion. With the exception of GCC nations, Saudi Arabia’s exports to Arab League nations totalled SR19.6 billion, or around 7.1% of its total exports to all nations worldwide.
