RIYADH: Prince Saud bin Turki bin Faisal inaugurated the 26th Elenex exhibition on Monday at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center. The three-day event, taking place from Oct. 6 to 8, spotlights the electricity, air conditioning, ventilation, lighting, and home appliances industries. More than 160 companies from 13 countries are participating, showcasing cutting-edge technologies and innovations in energy and related fields.
Prince Saud, who also chairs the board of the Riyadh Exhibitions Company, said the exhibition reflects Saudi Arabia’s ongoing shift toward cleaner and more efficient energy solutions. He emphasized that the event fosters partnerships between local and international companies, aligning with the Kingdom’s national development objectives.
The exhibition comes as Saudi Arabia makes major investments in energy and infrastructure projects aimed at generating 50 percent of the nation’s electricity from renewable sources by 2030. The event also features a conference bringing together experts from the public and private sectors to discuss energy trends, infrastructure advancements, and emerging market opportunities.
