Saudi Arabia Adds Eleven Additional International Locations

JEDDAH: As part of its global expansion strategy, Saudia Airlines said that it will be adding 11 new destinations to its network this year, including Vienna, Bali, and El-Alamein. Venice in Italy, Larnaca in Cyprus, and the Greek cities of Athens and Heraklion are all included in the new itineraries. Malaga, Spain, and Nice, France, have also been added to the list.

Saudia’s position in the aviation business is further strengthened by the expansion, which comes after a 16 percent increase in international passenger numbers last year. The newly additional destinations give travellers more alternatives throughout Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.

The action is in line with Saudi Arabia’s National Tourism Strategy, which seeks to increase the country’s tourism industry’s contribution to GDP, generate 1.6 million employment, and draw 150 million tourists by 2030. “After last year’s operational success, we’ve implemented a strategic plan for 2025 to ensure continued excellence and meet rising international travel demand,” stated Ibrahim Al-Omar, director general of Saudia Group.

“We choose our destinations based on thorough feasibility studies and visitor preferences,” he continued. We are dedicated to provide our foreign visitors outstanding travel experiences that blend efficiency, comfort, and genuine Saudi hospitality. In addition, Antalya in Turkey, Salalah in Oman, and Bali in Indonesia have joined the network, bringing Saudi Arabia’s reach to more than 100 locations on four continents.
