Until December 14, the football-themed celebrations encourage citizens and locals to show off their patriotism by donning football uniforms and posting about their experiences on social media with the hashtag #Saudi2034.
In the wake of the formal declaration from an online ceremony that was aired at a Riyadh event attended by Sports Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal and other authorities, fireworks lit up the skies over Riyadh, Jeddah, Alkhobar, Abha, NEOM, Al-Qassim, and Jubail at 8:34 p.m. on Wednesday.
The enthusiasm and sense of solidarity surrounding the nation’s historic accomplishment were mirrored in the stunning displays. Dynamic drone performances will enthrall audiences in Riyadh, Jeddah, Alkhobar, and Abha as part of the celebration.
On December 12, there will also be an air show over King Abdullah Financial District, King Fahd Stadium, and King Fahd Road in Riyadh.
The municipality of Riyadh arranged events with traditional dances at many urban parks and distributed scarves to football supporters on Prince Turki bin Abdulaziz Road, Takhassusi Street, and Tahlia Street.
