RIYADH: Tanzanian President Samia Suluhu Hassan sent a written note to Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman on Tuesday regarding their nations’ relations. Tanzania’s foreign minister, Mahmoud Thabit Kombo, delivered it, and the Kingdom’s deputy minister of foreign affairs, Waleed Elkhereiji, accepted it on behalf of the crown prince.

The Saudi Press Agency stated that the ministers met at the ministry’s headquarters in Riyadh and talked about ways to improve bilateral cooperation in all areas. The message was accepted on behalf of the crown prince by Waleed Elkhereiji, Saudi Arabia’s Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, during an official meeting at the ministry’s headquarters. During their discussions, both sides reviewed the current state of relations between Tanzania and the Kingdom and explored opportunities to enhance cooperation across various sectors.

This diplomatic exchange reflects ongoing efforts to strengthen ties and expand collaboration between the East African nation and Saudi Arabia. While specific details of future agreements were not disclosed, the meeting highlighted mutual interest in building deeper partnerships in areas of shared interest. Such high-level exchanges are part of broader regional and international diplomatic activities, as both countries continue to engage globally on economic, political, and strategic fronts.
