Riyadh: The delegation of Saudi Arabia arrived in New York City on Friday to attend the 79th United Nations General Assembly session, led by Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan.
A number of formal discussions between Prince Faisal and the delegation of the Kingdom will focus on improving multilateral international work and talking about developments on both the regional and global fronts. The discussions will also cover cooperative efforts to accomplish sustainable development goals and measures to create international security and peace.
Within the delegation of the Kingdom are Princess Reema bint Bandar bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, who is the Saudi ambassador to the United States, as well as several ministers: Adel Al-Jubeir, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs; Abdulrahman Alfadley, Minister of Environment, Water, and Agriculture; Abdullah Alswaha, Minister of Communications and Information Technology; and Faisal Alibrahim, Minister of Economy and Planning.
Abdullah Al Rabeeah, supervisor-general of the Saudi humanitarian organisation KSrelief, Abdulrahman Al-Rassi, deputy minister for international multilateral affairs, and Abdulaziz Alwasil, permanent representative of the Kingdom to the UN, are also included in the trip.
