RIYADH: As the “Zero to Hero” gaming boot camp came to a close, three winning teams were recognised by Saudi Arabia’s Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority for their exceptional business concepts in the electronic gaming industry.
Deputy Governor for Entrepreneurship Saud Al-Sabhan attended the event, which was held at the authority’s support centre in Riyadh, along with professionals and industry experts. On Saturday, the Saudi Press Agency said that teams Hanka, Nomad, and AlUla received recognition for their superiority in game design, development, and innovation.
According to the SPA, the event attracted a large number of participants, who showcased their initiatives to a chosen group of investors and specialists. The 12-week bootcamp’s objectives were to improve participants’ game design and development abilities while examining the industry’s possibilities, problems, and trends.
Ten projects proceeded out of 148 applications, helped by 47 specialised workshops that enhanced their technical and creative capacities.
The program’s four stages comprised an overview of the boot camp, rigorous instruction in game development, prototype construction, and final project presentations in front of a panel of investors and experts.
