The Saudi-Egyptian Supreme Coordination Council’s General Secretariat met for the first time Thursday in Riyadh. The meeting covered strategies to strengthen the strategic partnership between the two nations as well as common goals for it. In order to get ready for the upcoming meeting of the Saudi-Egyptian Supreme Coordination Council, which is led by Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman, it also examined cooperative action plans.
Egypt’s Deputy Prime Minister for Industrial Development, Minister of Industry and Transport, and Secretary General of the Saudi-Egyptian Supreme Coordination Council, Lt. Gen. Kamel Al-Wazir, co-chaired the meeting with Mohammed Al-Tuwaijri, Advisor to the Royal Court and Secretary General of the Saudi-Egyptian Supreme Coordination Council.
Al-Tuwaijri and Al-Wazir, who viewed the council as the main forum for defining policies in every area, spoke at the meeting and reaffirmed their commitment to enhancing bilateral ties in order to fulfill the goals of the leadership and citizens of the two friendly nations and move relations toward new heights.
