RIYADH: The sports Accord minister of Saudi Arabia, Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki bin Faisal, is heading a delegation to SportAccord 2024, an assembly of global sports federations and influential personalities in the sports industry.
Along with Prince Turki, the committee’s chief executive and vice president are Prince Fahad bin Jalawi bin Abdulaziz bin Musaed and Abdulaziz bin Ahmed Baeshen. Prince Turki is also the chairman of the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee. The event, themed “The Power of Sport,” will take place in Birmingham, a British city, through April 11.
At the International Convention Centre, some 1,500 people from 100 different nations will come to network and exchange business and sports-related ideas.
He stated before to the start of the conference on Monday that “sports is an essential method for keeping peace throughout the world.”
The event’s organizers, who bill it as “sport’s most important industry summit,” expressed satisfaction with the turnout this year. We are thrilled that the international sports community is returning to SportAccord with such enthusiasm, and the energy in the city is impressive,” stated Martin Gibbs, Managing Director of SportAccord.
