JEDDAH: The Saudi Press Agency said Monday that Somalian Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre had visited Makkah’s Hira Cultural District. He took a tour of the Revelation Exhibition, which featured the prophets’ stories of revelation as well as other district features. In addition to a representation of the initial revelation, the exhibition includes a pavilion that describes the Cave of Hira and Khadijah bint Khuwaylid, the Mother of the Believers. The prime minister also went to the Holy Qur’an Museum, where he saw manuscripts and displays that emphasised the Qur’an’s current state and preservation efforts.
According to the SPA, he commended the district’s scientific methods, content, and the Kingdom’s endeavours to enhance tourists’ religious and cultural experiences. About 67,000 square meters make up the Hira Cultural District, which is next to Jabal Hira, one of Makkah’s most well-known monuments. In line with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 to improve visitor experiences and quality of life, the tourist and educational attraction connects the past and present.
