Students Receive Media Skills Instruction From Wasl Community

RIYADH: The Wasl Community has concluded its Media Skills Week initiative, which was held in Riyadh from July 13-18 at PureMinds Studios. The program was designed for college students majoring in media and communication who wanted to improve their practical abilities in order to meet the needs of the labor market.

Over 1,000 people registered for the week-long program, which included over 20 hours of specialized training through expert seminars conducted by seasoned media and communication specialists. Key topics covered in the workshops included Majid Al-Ghamdi’s media appearances and spokesperson skills; Abdulrahman Al-Sultan’s strategic communication fundamentals; Waleed Al-Harbi’s creation and management of media content; Najla Al-Otaibi’s internal communication; Saad Moamen’s media production from writing to publishing; and Abdullah Al-Zarzour’s corporate audio identity.

Mohammed Al-Razqi, CEO of Wasl Community, stated that the program mirrored the idea that excellent content began with talent development and that successful communication required individuals to be empowered. As a member of the Quality of Life Program under Vision 2030, Wasl Community is a nonprofit professional network that is registered on the Hawi platform. It unites experts in marketing, media, and corporate communication from a variety of industries.
