RIYADH: The Ministry of Interior’s Absher Conference highlights artificial intelligence’s continued value as a distinctive long-term asset in Saudi Arabia’s digital transformation. The Absher Conference’s second day served as a forum for in-depth discussion of the Kingdom’s thriving AI sector following the first day’s announcement of the success of Tuwaiq Academy’s Tuwaiq Hackathon. Training academies, tech companies, and AI in media were given a voice in panel discussions that focused on the Ministry of Interior’s role in harnessing digital transformation.
The bridge of cooperation between government agencies and AI start-ups provided information on funding, infrastructure, and talent during the panel “Investing in Govtech: Empowering AI Startups to Redefine Government Services. The CEO of Saudi IT business Signit, Mohamed El-Abbouri, expounded on the relationship between transformation and infrastructure readiness.
When it comes to government technology, Saudi Arabia is among the best nations in the world. The government’s infrastructural preparedness is another factor. We have the indigenous talent to meet the needs of Saudi citizens who prioritize technology,” he stated.
