The Annual Meetings and Golden Jubilee of the Islamic Development Bank Group will be Held in Saudi Arabia.

RIYADH: From April 27 to 30, Saudi Arabia, under the auspices of King Salman, will host the Islamic Development Bank Group’s annual meetings and golden jubilee celebrations in Riyadh. The Saudi Press Agency stated that the subject of this year’s sessions is “Taking Pride in Our Past and Shaping Our Future: Authenticity, Solidarity, and Prosperity.”

The bank said it is commemorating 50 years of encouraging social and economic growth among its members and considers itself as a crucial forum for development debate. It stated that it anticipates the event would garner great regional and global interest in its capacity as a premier multilateral development bank.

Along with representatives of Islamic banks, the private sector, development finance institutions, chambers of commerce and industry, international and regional financial agencies and organizations, and nongovernmental organizations, participants will include the ministers of finance, planning, and economics from each of the bank’s 57 member nations.

According to its organizers, the yearly conference provides an essential platform for participants to expand their cooperation and strengthen their commercial links. Many events are scheduled on its program, including meetings, seminars, and forums covering a variety of subjects. The Governors’ Round Table, the 18th IDB Global Forum on Islamic Finance, and the IDB Group Private Sector Forum are of particular note.
