The Food Culture Festival Brings Together Food and Entertainment in Alkhobar

ALKHOBAR: The Food Culture Festival, which runs until February 2, has converted Alkhobar’s seashore into a centre for culinary and cultural interchange. The event involves huge culinary sculptures, such as a giant hamburger and pizza slice, which guide visitors through a world of flavours. With 30 food options, 12 booths, and interactive places, the festival provides a diverse culinary experience enhanced by live music.

The festival, which is organised in partnership with the Quality of Life Program, will feature a variety of different cuisines, including Saudi, Italian, Turkish, American, Chinese, and Thai, as well as street food favourites and gourmet specialities.

Upon arrival, visitors are given a festival passport that will guide them through gastronomic missions. Completing all challenges gives them a free prize (a T-shirt or a mug), but participation is optional. Guests can simply roam around, buy meals, and watch live acts without following the passport activities.

One seller, Norah Mari of Soma, expressed her satisfaction in exhibiting a meal with a local flavour. “People are coming to enjoy culinary delicacies from all around the world, and we are happy to present our Saudi touch on a Syrian dish. “We added Hasawi lemon to our new variation, and this festival allows everyone to try it,” she told Arab News.
