RIYADH: The GREAT Futures Initiative Conference aims to strengthen economic ties between Saudi Arabia and the United Kingdom. It will start on Tuesday in the King Abdullah Financial District.
“Today, more than 400 UK business delegates 70% of whom have never visited the Kingdom arrive in Riyadh for GREAT FUTURES, marking the largest UK business delegation to visit the Kingdom in over a decade.” Neil Crompton, the British Ambassador to Saudi Arabia.
Senior officials from both of our kingdoms will create alliances over the next two days that will cover a wide range of economic sectors, from cutting-edge technologies to cultural institutions,” he stated. These collaborations strengthen ties that already exist in the energy and security sectors. The United Kingdom is dedicated to contributing to the revolutionary Vision 2030.
The GREAT Britain and Northern Ireland campaign of the UK government, in collaboration with the Saudi government, is organizing the GREAT Futures Initiative Conference. The conference is a component of the Saudi-British Strategic Partnership Council, which UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman co-chair.
The ambassador said that the embassy would be hosting a British delegation comprising representatives from 400 companies, under the patronage of the British deputy prime minister.
