A Cultural Exchange Initiative is Launched During the Osaka Expo by the Saudi Arabia Pavilion

TOKYO: Saudi Arabia’s Expo office announced on Tuesday that the Saudi Arabia Pavilion has started a cultural exchange program to offer special career and personal development opportunities for Osaka-Kansai Expo employees while creating new channels to share the Kingdom’s cultural legacy and worldwide influence.

Thirteen Saudi Arabia Pavilion team members will be sent to five foreign pavilions in the first round of CEP placements, while fifteen visiting international staff members will rotate at the Saudi Arabia Pavilion for three months.

The leadership of the Saudi Arabia Pavilion will lead a thorough cultural engagement module for visiting foreign exchange staff members during the CEP. This induction procedure covers venue-specific training, including heat management, workplace health and safety, and an overview of Saudi Arabia’s operational objectives during the Expo.

The buddy system, which is part of the CEP, allows new team members to support visiting workers fully. The cultural exchange program is a celebration of unity through diversity, where pavilions across Expo 2025 Osaka come together to share stories, spark new friendships, and build bridges that extend far beyond our pavilion walls,” stated Eng. Adel Alfayez, director of the Saudi Arabia Pavilion.
