RIYADH: Visitors and Umrah participants in the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Program commended Saudi Arabia’s advancement in a number of areas. According to the Saudi Press Agency, they praised initiatives to protect historical landmarks and places of worship, emphasising a rich cultural legacy that dates back thousands of years. They thanked the Kingdom for hosting them during their tour of Madinah’s religious sites and monuments, which was arranged as part of a program by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs.
Senegalese preacher Sheikh Khadem Mbaki said he was delighted to see Madinah’s rich historical and cultural legacy. He commended the Kingdom’s commitment to maintaining these significant landmarks and emphasised how the locations represent different facets of Islamic civilisation.
Additionally, Mbaki praised the Kingdom’s efforts to guarantee the safety of tourists and Umrah performers from around the globe. Mali’s Ali Coulibaly stated that the Kingdom’s numerous historical monuments and archaeological sites in areas like as AlUla and NEOM make it a worldwide religious and cultural destination.
He also mentioned how quickly infrastructural projects are being developed, which improves the Kingdom’s capacity to receive tourists and visitors and offers year-round access to these historical and cultural landmarks.
Morocco’s Mohammed Abdo Abu Yaali commended the cultural and historical diversity he encountered when touring Madinah’s historical landmarks. He valued the thorough explanations regarding the importance of these locations and how they relate to Islamic history and the Prophet’s life.
