As stated by the commander, the exercise’s objectives are to improve combat effectiveness and readiness levels, provide training in complicated air operations involving mixed international forces, and allow air, technical, and support crews to trade and gain experience.

The Saudi Press Agency said on Saturday that the commander of the Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF), Lt. Gen. Turki bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, had checked the participating air force group’s preparations before they departed from King Fahad Air Base in the Western Sector.

He said the RSAF will participate in one of the most extensive exercises in Europe, Iniochos 2024, with six Typhoon aircraft and complete air, technical, and support crews.

The commander continued, “The exercise aims to improve combat efficiency and readiness levels; train air, technical, and support crews in planning and executing complex air operations involving mixed multinational forces; and exchange and acquire experience.”
