The third edition of the Global AI Summit, themed “For the Good of Humanity,” will take place in Riyadh from September 10 to 12. Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, the chairman of the Saudi Arabian Council of Ministers, will serve as its honorary patron.
The summit will cover various subjects, such as AI innovation, pivotal moments that will influence AI’s future, and developing AI environments that will maximise human potential. AI’s effects on society at large, the ways in which humans and AI complement each other, business leaders involved in AI, generative AI, AI ethics, smart cities, and the infrastructure that underpins AI technologies will all be discussed.
The summit’s objective is to highlight AI’s potential to propel talent development, societal advancement, and economic growth. More than 300 speakers, experts, specialists, and decision-makers from 100 countries will gather to discuss how best to use AI technologies.
Eng. Abdullah Al-Ghamdi, Chairman of the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA), invited international AI experts and policymakers to share their frameworks and insights to optimise the advantages of AI technologies. He underlined that the summit is in line with the Kingdom’s strategic goals of advancing AI and data agendas and maintaining Saudi Arabia’s leadership in data-driven economies.
