Due to his dedication to the trade, Saudi watchmaker Abdulrahman Al-Zahrani, who took an early interest in timepieces, is currently one of the first Saudis to enter the field of watch engineering.
His employment at a company that represented Longines marked the beginning of his watchmaking career. His interest in this sector was piqued by the dearth of competent watchmakers in the area.
Al-Zahrani, 29, told Arab News that his passion for disassembling objects and his early aspiration to work as an aviation engineer laid the groundwork for his watchmaking profession.
“I entered the field of watch repair, which is primarily occupied by people of other nationalities, with the burning desire to challenge conventions and open doors for Saudi representation,” the man stated.
Motivated by the game-changing Saudi Vision 2030 and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s unwavering desire to see Saudis succeed, Al-Zahrani set out to overcome all obstacles and carve out a successful niche for himself in the watch industry.
