Opening on Thursday, the Riyadh worldwide Book Fair 2024 features over 2,000 Saudi, Arab, and worldwide publishing houses and organisations from over 30 countries exhibiting their books.
With over 200 activities catering to all age groups, visitors and book lovers can look forward to a distinctive intellectual and cultural experience spanning throughout 800 pavilions at King Saud University. The Festival of Books is attracting a sizable crowd of writers, philosophers, intellectuals, and book lovers from both inside and outside of Saudi Arabia.
Under the theme “Riyadh Reads,” the Literature, Publishing, and Translation Commission is in charge of organising the book fair. The event, which runs until October 5, solidifies Riyadh’s standing as one of the Arab world’s most significant global cultural hubs. The festival is an important forum for publishers, as well as for intellectual and cultural interchange, and a gathering place for writers, as it attracts participation from Saudi, Arab, and worldwide cultural organisations and institutions.
