RIYADH: Ahmed Al-Khateeb, the Saudi Minister of Tourism and Chairman of the Saudi Tourism Authority, opened the Kingdom’s “Saudi Land” pavilion at the World Travel Market in London.
The pavilion includes the Visit Saudi exhibition, which is being held for the fourth year in a row by the Saudi Tourist Authority with assistance from over 70 tourist partners, including hotels, airlines, travel agencies, and destinations. Saudi Arabia’s participation in this international event demonstrates its attempts to make a name for itself in the travel industry by highlighting its explosive growth and industry firsts.
The event strengthens the commercial sector, builds strategic collaborations, draws various travellers, and promotes Saudi attractions.
The Saudi Red Sea Destination, which showcases Red Sea Global’s most recent projects and aims for 16 resorts this year and 50 by 2030, was launched at the Visit Saudi event.
The pavilion also provides interactive experiences highlighting Saudi hospitality, climate, natural diversity, culture, traditional dress, music, and food.
Al-Khateeb stated, “Saudi Arabia, the world’s fastest-growing travel destination, aims to establish its dominance in global tourism by showcasing distinctive locations, innovative projects, and substantial investment opportunities, in line with the Saudi Vision 2030 goals.
