In Jeddah, Saudi Intermobility Expo 2024 Begins

JEDDAH: More than 30 countries participated in a meeting of road, rail, and transportation experts from the Middle East and North Africa region that began Monday in Jeddah.

The Jeddah International Exhibition and Convention Center is hosting the Saudi Intermobility Expo 2024, which will conclude on November 13.

The purpose of the show is to give exhibitors a venue to promote commercial prospects, raise brand awareness, and investigate transportation options in Saudi Arabia.

“The road network and other modes of transportation play a vital role in connecting regions, enhancing trade support, driving the economy in general, and supporting tourism,” stated Badr Abdullah Al-Dulami, vice minister at the Ministry of Transport and CEO of the Roads General Authority, during the opening.

He explained how the Roads General Authority uses artificial intelligence to assess roads.

“We are also thrilled to talk about developments in the Saudi Highway Code, which seeks to give all levels of road authorities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia a single technical reference,” he continued.
