Saudi Arabia is a Perfect Partner in The AI Era, According to Al-Swaha During The FII Meeting

MIAMI — Saudi Arabia has emerged as a vital partner for the United States and the global community in bridging digital divides and spearheading the shift towards the “smart age,” according to Minister of Communications and Information Technology Eng. Abdullah Al-Swaha. AlSawaha emphasised Saudi Arabia’s endeavours and aspirational vision to strengthen international collaboration in the realm of artificial intelligence and emerging technologies during his remarks at the main session of the third edition of the Future Investment Initiative (FII Priority) Summit, which was held in Miami, Washington, under the theme “Investing with Purpose.”

He said that the Saudi Arabian digital economy has grown to around $132 billion, accounting for half of the $260 billion regional digital economy, making Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman’s Vision 2030 “the most prominent success story of the twenty-first century.” He pointed out that Saudi Arabia now has 381,000 technological talents, up from 150,000 previously.

He emphasised how Saudi Arabia is now one of the world’s fastest-growing technological hubs thanks to the attention of significant international investors like Oracle, Google, and Microsoft. Al-Sawaha urged the world to think of Saudi Arabia as the perfect partner to hasten the adoption of AI as he wrapped up his remarks.

He acknowledged the Future Investment Initiative’s role in uniting thought and investment leaders to shape the future of technology and expressed his faith in the potential of global cooperation to overcome obstacles and achieve the stage of sustainable productivity in this area.
