The Saudi-Egyptian joint committee’s follow-up team held a pivotal meeting in Riyadh to track the progress of key initiatives and recommendations from the committee’s 18th session. The gathering highlighted the mutual resolve to deepen cooperation and boost trade between Saudi Arabia and Egypt reflecting for both countries’ ambitions for the stronger economic engagement.
During the session the team reviewed advances on approximately at 38 initiatives spanning economic commercial agricultural tourism and health sectors. These efforts have led to the signing of four formal agreements and the launch of several for the cooperation programs, demonstrating tangible progress toward shared goals.
The meeting was also an opportunity to address challenges. Committee members identified specific obstacles hindering full execution and put forward practical solutions to overcome them, reinforcing their commitment to sustained economic collaboration.
