Few people blend intellect, emotion, and purpose the way Dr. Ignacio Bonasa does. A visionary leader, he has turned his personal journey into a movement that inspires transformation at every level — individual, organizational, and social.
From a successful career in banking to pioneering work in emotional leadership and conscious development, Bonasa’s evolution is a story of meaning over status. As a Doctor in Leadership and Organizational Transformation, founder of Liderarte, and president of international initiatives like Turn the Table (Dale la Vuelta a la Tortilla) and the European Association of Organizations with Soul, his work transcends traditional leadership.
Through programs like RESETÉATE, BienestART, and the Parliament of Latin American Leaders, Bonasa has built a framework where art, emotion, and consciousness come together to create lasting impact.
Transitioning from Power to Purpose
“It wasn’t a leap; it was a calling,” Bonasa reflects.
After years in senior banking positions, he achieved everything society defines as success — recognition, stability, and authority — yet something essential was missing: purpose. “I realized I could lead banks, but I wasn’t leading my own life,” he says.
That realization led to the founding of Liderarte, a platform that promotes leadership through authenticity, creativity, and emotional intelligence.
The 4A Model of Leadership
At the core of Bonasa’s philosophy lies his 4A Model — Learning, Attitude, Soul, and Action.
“Learning opens the door; attitude drives the path; soul gives meaning; and action creates transformation.”
Bonasa views art as an essential part of leadership learning. “Art heals what logic cannot reach,” he explains. In his methodology, art becomes a medium for reflection and growth — a bridge between knowledge and empathy.
RESETÉATE: A New Beginning
RESETÉATE was born during one of the most challenging moments in Bonasa’s life.
“It was my way of saving myself,” he admits.
The program teaches people to turn pain into energy — to see personal struggles not as limitations but as opportunities for renewal.
RESETÉATE encourages self-forgiveness, gratitude, and emotional clarity. “It’s not a product,” Bonasa says, “it’s a rebirth.”
Turning Adversity into Opportunity
Among his most personal projects is Turn the Table (Dale la Vuelta a la Tortilla).
“It turns adversity into opportunity, pain into purpose, and falls into strength,” he explains.
What started as his personal journey of resilience has grown into a global social movement that helps individuals and organizations rediscover motivation and meaning.
Building Organizations with Soul
Bonasa believes that companies can thrive while maintaining humanity.
“I saw too many organizations that were efficient but emotionally sterile,” he recalls.
His initiative Organizations with Soul aims to restore empathy and purpose in business environments. “People don’t burn out from working; they burn out from working without meaning,” he says.
BienestART: The Connection Between Art and Wellbeing
Through BienestART, Bonasa integrates creativity and wellbeing. The initiative demonstrates that wellbeing is not a final goal but the result of living authentically.
Art, emotion, and movement merge to form an approach where personal balance becomes the foundation of productivity and happiness.
The Parliament of Latin American Leaders
“The Parliament is not political; it’s human,” Bonasa emphasizes.
The Parliament of Latin American Leaders promotes leadership rooted in empathy, collaboration, and shared values. “Our goal is to change the narrative of Latin America through soulful leadership — and inspire the world.”
Redefining Leadership
Bonasa’s philosophy of leadership is centered on authenticity and coherence. “To lead is not to control, but to connect. Vulnerability is my strength, and coherence is my compass,” he says.
For him, leadership is measured not by authority but by emotional legacy:
“I want to be the kind of leader whose absence is felt — not for the power he held, but for the humanity he shared.”
Influences and Personal Roots
Bonasa credits several figures for shaping his worldview — his aunt Tere, known for her firm wisdom; Ramón Feijoo, who taught him integrity; Viktor Frankl, who showed that meaning can survive any circumstance; María Zambrano, who encouraged thinking with the heart; and Mozart, who united precision with emotion.
Yet, he admits, “My greatest teachers are ordinary people — they remind me every day what it means to be human.”
Proudly Spanish, Bonasa describes Spain as “passion, creativity, and soul.” “I carry my country not as a border, but as a heartbeat,” he says.
Wellbeing as a Modern Intelligence
Bonasa defines wellbeing as a new dimension of intelligence.
“It’s the harmony between what you think, what you feel, and what you do.
It’s not yoga or mindfulness — it’s coherence, compassion, and purpose.”
This approach reframes wellbeing as alignment — a balance that connects emotional awareness with action.
Vision for the Future
Bonasa envisions a future where organizations measure success by impact, not just profit.
“I dream of organizations led by empathy and an economy guided by purpose. I hope my projects live beyond me — because that will mean they’ve learned to breathe on their own.”
A Message from the Soul
“Thank you for not giving up when it was easier to quit.
Thank you for turning pain into art and wounds into wisdom.
Thank you for reminding me that the soul never grows old — it simply evolves.”
The Legacy of a Transformative Leader
Dr. Ignacio Bonasa represents a new generation of leaders — those who believe that art, emotion, and consciousness can coexist with strategy and innovation.
In a fast-moving world, he advocates for reflection. In times of noise, he values clarity. And in moments of fear, he stands for authenticity.
His life reminds us that true leadership is not about control but connection — and that the most meaningful projects are always built with purpose.
