LONDON: Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and his Bahraini counterpart, Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, co-chaired the Saudi-Bahraini Coordination Council’s fourth meeting in Manama on Wednesday, signing many agreements.

According to the Saudi Press Agency, the princes expressed a strong desire to strengthen bilateral ties in every area and to expand cooperation between their nations. A number of memorandums of understanding, including one between Bahrain’s Supreme Council for Environment and the Saudi Nuclear and Radiological Regulatory Commission regarding nuclear safety and radiation protection, were signed by ministers from the Kingdom and their Bahraini counterparts.

The Prince Saud Al-Faisal Institute for Diplomatic Studies and the Mohammed bin Mubarak Al-Khalifa Academy for Diplomatic Studies cooperated; double taxation was avoided; competition was protected; direct investment was encouraged; and collaboration in sustainable development, social development, transportation, and education was promoted.

Others attempt to defend competition, encourage direct investment, prevent double taxation, and foster collaboration in numerous domains. At the Saudi-Bahraini Coordination Council meeting, memorandums of understanding about radiation protection and nuclear safety were finalized.
