Saudi Arabia has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting global humanitarian efforts through closer cooperation with the United Nations. Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan met with Tom Fletcher, the UN Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Coordinator, on Friday in Davos.
The meeting took place on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum, where global leaders gather to discuss key international challenges. During the discussion, both sides reviewed existing areas of cooperation and explored ways to further strengthen joint humanitarian initiatives. They also exchanged views on improving coordination in emergency response, aid delivery, and support for communities affected by conflicts and natural disasters.
