RIYADH: Armah Sports Co.’s net profit to shareholders increased 62 percent to SR62 million ($16.53 million) in 2025 due to strong demand for personal training services and ongoing membership base growth.
In the year ended December 31, revenue surged 27 percent yearly to SR224.9 million, while operational revenue increased 48 percent to SR81.1 million, indicating operating leverage as revenue growth surpassed expense increases.
Profits from personal training rose 51% over the course of the year due to the ongoing demand for top-notch training services. The growth in the average number of members and the maturing of current clubs were the main drivers of the 24% increase in subscription and membership revenue. Ancillary revenue sources from the company’s fitness centers also increased.
According to industry data, the company’s success is indicative of the Kingdom’s fitness industry’s overall structural expansion. Saudi Arabia’s fitness industry is undergoing structural expansion rather than cyclical growth,” Ahmed Attallah, manager at FIBO Arabia, the organization that organises the health and fitness exhibition, told Arab News.
The market is expected to reach SR15.5 billion by 2030, having increased from roughly SR3.4 billion in 2017 to SR7.7 billion in 2024, he continued. Increasing female engagement, regulatory reform, and consistent private sector investment in line with Vision 2030 all contribute to this growth.
