The Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Has Arrived in India to Participate in the 18th Brics Summit

Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has arrived in India to lead the United Arab Emirates team that will be attending the 18th BRICS Summit, which will take place in New Delhi from September 12-13, 2026. This group will be attending the summit on behalf of Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates.

Sheikh Khalifa bin Tahnoon bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Court; Reem Al Hashimy, Minister of State for International Cooperation; Dr. Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology; and other officials are among those who are a part of the United Arab Emirates delegation.

After extending a warm welcome to Sheikh Khaled, the Ministry of External Affairs of India highlighted India’s long-standing ties and growing cooperation with the United Arab Emirates. According to the ministry, the visit would offer an opportunity to further strengthen the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between India and the United Arab Emirates, centred on efficient commerce and energy security for shared prosperity.

In New Delhi, India will play host to the 18th Brics Summit, which will take place on September 12-13. The concept of “Building for Resilience, Innovation, Cooperation, and Sustainability” serves as the guiding principle for India’s Chairship, with development, sustainability, and innovation as the primary areas of focus.
