Following the Asr prayer on Sunday, the Imam Turki Bin Abdullah Mosque in Riyadh held a funeral prayer for Prince Badr bin Abdulmohsin. His remains were interred in Riyadh’s Al-Oud Cemetery.
The following people attended the Janaza prayer: Prince Sultan bin Salman, special advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques; Prince Abdulaziz bin Sattam, advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques; Prince Abdulaziz bin Saad, emir of the Hail Region; Prince Faisal bin Khalid, emir of the Northern Border Region; Prince Saud bin Abdulmohsin, Saudi ambassador to Portugal; Prince Mansour bin Miteb, minister of state and member of the Council of Ministers; and Prince Sultan bin Salman, minister of energy.
The individuals hold important positions: Prince Salman bin Sultan, the emir of Madinah; Prince Khaled bin Badr bin Abdulmohsin; Prince Sultan bin Badr bin Abdulmohsin; Prince Saud bin Badr bin Abdulmohsin; and Prince Abdulmohsin bin Badr bin Abdulmohsin. Prince Abdulaziz bin Sattam is the advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.
In addition, several other princes, dignitaries, and ordinary people offered prayers for Prince Badr bin Abdulmohsin, who passed away in Paris on Saturday at 75. A prominent Saudi poet and national symbol of literacy, Prince Badr was a legendary figure who enjoyed great popularity throughout the Gulf and Arab world.
