RIYADH: The Kingdom’s Ministry of Defense announced on Friday that members of the Royal Saudi Air Force have arrived at the Greek Andravida Air Base to participate in multinational exercises.
The RSAF team will participate in the medium-scale yearly air drill known as INIOCHOS 2024.
The Hellenic Air Force said that the exercise’s deployment started on April 1 and will run through Sunday. The secondary execution phase will start on Monday and run through April 18.
Force redeployment, the drill’s third phase, is scheduled for April 19–21 One of the biggest military drills in Europe is called INIOCHOS 2024.
According to the Kingdom’s Ministry of Defense, the RSAF will take part with six Typhoon aircraft and their air, technical, and support crews.
The ministry also stated that the RSAF will seek to increase combat efficiency and readiness; train on complex air operations planning and execution in a multi-national force environment; and exchange and acquire expertise from air, technical, and support crews to simulate a real war environment.
