During an International meeting in Paris, the Saudi Deputy Foreign Minister Highlights Support for Lebanon

Prince Faisal bin Farhan, Minister of Foreign Affairs, was represented by Saudi Deputy Foreign Minister Eng. Waleed Al-Khuraiji at the international meeting in Paris, France, to support the people of Lebanon and their sovereignty.

In his speech, Al-Khuraiji emphasised the need for a shared commitment to help Lebanon face its current dilemma and lessen its humanitarian effects.

In light of the challenging situation the brotherly Lebanese people are in, the Saudi government “reaffirms its support for all efforts aimed at a ceasefire and activating sustainable diplomatic solutions to establish peace in Lebanon, preserve its stability, and respect its sovereignty,” Al-Khuraiji said.

He emphasized once more how crucial it is to assist different Lebanese state institutions in carrying out their constitutional obligations to extend state sovereignty throughout all Lebanese territory. He said that building a powerful state that can enforce its sovereignty and carry out its rightful role in serving the Lebanese people is the only way to establish permanent stability.

Al-Khuraiji emphasised the Lebanese Army’s vital role in preserving the nation’s security and stability, emphasising that it is necessary to allow the Lebanese government to take action to guarantee a conflict-free future for its people.
