Interior Minister Unveils Civil Defense’s Revised Salamah Portal Identity.

RIYADH — On Wednesday, Minister of Interior Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif launched the Directorate of Saudi Civil Defense’s updated Salamah Portal identity at its Riyadh headquarters.

The updated ID allows public and private sector businesses to benefit from licensing procedures based on an integrated electronic system with multiple government agencies. It also aims to facilitate the investor’s journey and create a safe environment in the facilities by outlining procedures and requirements for fire prevention and protection. Salamah portal provides investors convenient and easy access to a wide range of civil defence services, promoting safety in all facilities throughout the Kingdom. The minister also inaugurated several electronic services, including the service for amending and extending licenses.

Prince Abdulaziz also visited the General Directorate of Civil Defence headquarters to see how work was progressing. He examined a number of modern mechanisms and civil defence teams that used the most up-to-date global technical equipment and services. The minister listened to a brief explanation from the Director General of Civil Defence in charge, Maj. Gen. Hammoud Al-Faraj, about the directorate’s efforts in 2023 and its targets for 2024/2025.
