The Ministry of Transportation Declares that Everything is Ready for The 2025 Hajj Season

For the 2025 Hajj season, the Ministry of Transport and Logistics and its connected organisations declared themselves well prepared. To guarantee top-notch services appropriate for the Kingdom’s responsibility in servicing the Two Holy Mosques, the ministry’s thorough preparation included efficient coordination and integration across the air, sea, land, and train transport sectors. This aligns with the Saudi leadership’s directions to use all available resources to assist Hajj travellers.

According to the General Authority of Civil Aviation (gaca), more than 3 million seats on scheduled and chartered flights have been set aside for both local and foreign pilgrims throughout the arrival and departure periods. GACA confirmed that it is prepared to accept pilgrims.

Matarat Holding Company, which employs more than 18,000 people, has finished preparing 11 special pilgrim transit lounges. High-quality services, such as the “Traveller without baggage” project for streamlined luggage and Zamzam water pre-shipment from households, are in place to enhance the pilgrim travel experience and make transit through Saudi airports easier.

With more than 1 million seats and 2,000 flights using its fleet of 158 aircraft, Saudi Arabian Airlines (Saudia) has verified that it is fully prepared to serve pilgrims worldwide. Flynas is ready to accommodate more than 120,000 pilgrims on 294 flights from 15 different countries while maintaining the highest standards for comfort and seamless arrivals.
