The Beginning
With nearly two decades of experience in corporate life, Pinar Koyuncu Oktar is currently leading a global platform called ‘Her Leadership Playbook,’ aiming to create a collaborative space for women leaders and male allies to share their experiences.
Pinar adds, “Personally, I grew up with a deep appreciation for education, resilience, and purpose, values that have guided my journey from an early age. After completing my studies in Business and earning a master’s degree in Technology Management, I built a diverse career in global business development, sales strategy and operations, and supply chain management. I spent nearly two decades working for one of Türkiye’s largest multinational companies, leading commercial and strategic projects across the Asia Pacific and EMEA regions.”
Today, alongside leading Her Leadership Playbook, Pinar is also a proud mother of two young children, which she believes has added even more depth to her passion for creating leadership systems that honor the full lives people lead, not just their professional titles.

Pinar Koyuncu Oktar shares that HLP is expanding across Europe, the Middle East, and the Asia Pacific region, where they already have established strong roots. “We are proud to be building a global community that believes leadership should be driven by purpose, not just by position,” she reflects.
Although many business systems, jargon, and leadership models appear to be shaped by Western standards, HLP has deep influences from Eastern cultures as well, especially in how relationships, trust, and collective growth are valued. “At HLP, we believe it is crucial to understand these diverse cultural dynamics and design leadership systems that truly reflect and empower every member of society. Building healthier futures means not just following a template but shaping new models that honor different needs, values, and strengths across regions,” Pinar Koyuncu Oktar mentions.

Addressing the aspiring beginners of her field, Pinar Koyuncu Oktar shares, “My biggest advice would be to trust the depth of your experience and the clarity of your values. Find your own North Star and build your path not just on what looks impressive but on what feels meaningful. Especially in leadership development, authenticity is your greatest asset. Listen deeply to the communities you want to serve, stay adaptable as technology and work culture evolve, and always remember that impact grows when you focus on people first, results second. Growth takes time, but if you stay true to your mission, you will build something that lasts.
And most importantly, build your own support system, including allies, mentors, and coaches who will believe in you, challenge you, and help you grow with confidence.
