The oldest Hajj traveler to enter the Kingdom this year is an Iraqi woman who is 104 years old.

On May 25, Kazimiya Hatim arrived at Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Madinah and was greeted with much excitement.

Over 33,000 Iraqi pilgrims are anticipated to go to Saudi Arabia for the Hajj.

Following their visit to the Prophet’s Mosque, Iraqi agent Ali Abd Al-Rida Khazim escorted Kazimiya from Madinah to Makkah on the Al-Haramain train.

According to him, Kazimiya was a source of pride and joy for the Iraqi Hajj mission as well as the Iraqi people at large because she had made up her mind to participate in the Hajj.

He noted that, although she was under constant observation, her health was good.

Kazimiya expressed her gratitude for the kind welcome and excellent care she and her companions had received, and she was pleased to be in the Kingdom for the Hajj.
