RIYADH: On Thursday, Sirha Arabia brought together 300 exhibitors from the Kingdom and outside to showcase their culinary and hospitality industry knowledge in partnership with the Culinary Arts Commission and the Saudi Conventions & Exhibitions General Authority.
Vittorio Rocchi, the CEO of Sitaf Saudi Co. for Trade, said Arab News, “The experience is very positive: Sirha brought to Arabia a very high-profile audience and the organisation has been premium, we could feel its quality.”
Since its founding in 1976, Sitaf has expanded its product line to include over 3,000 items. With two sizable booths, it was one of the primary exhibitors at Sirha Arabia.
The company allowed guests to sample pizzas, pasta, dairy products, and seafood while they watched live culinary demonstrations in its kitchens. With committed Japanese chefs, there is an amazing fresh sushi and sashimi production,” Rocchi told Arab News. The expert tuna cutter’s live cutting of a 180 kg fatty tuna was the high point. “Just incredible,” he remarked.
By embracing global trends and promoting both domestic and foreign goods and businesses, like Sitaf, the Kingdom is attempting to strengthen its position as a major player in the catering and hotel industries.
