RIYADH: On Tuesday, newly appointed Saudi ambassadors to various nations took the oath of office before Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman at Dammam’s Al-Khaleej Palace. The Saudi Press Agency said that the Kingdom’s ambassadors to Qatar, Brunei, Romania, Nigeria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Burkina Faso, Albania, Sierra Leone, Ethiopia, Tajikistan, Singapore, Myanmar, Nepal, Vietnam, Cambodia, and the Netherlands attended the ceremony.
Prince Faisal bin Farhan, the Kingdom’s foreign minister, also attended the ceremony. Later, Prince Mohammed received a group of princes, scholars, officials, and civilians who had come to the palace to meet him. Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman emphasized the role of foreign diplomacy in accomplishing the Kingdom’s strategic goals. The attendance of Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan at the ceremony demonstrates the Saudi leadership’s support and dedication to the diplomats in these critical jobs.
The swearing-in ceremony not only symbolizes the start of the ambassadors’ fresh duties, but also represents Saudi Arabia’s commitment to promoting peace, security, and cooperation on the global arena.
