The Family Guidance Strategy was introduced by Engineer Ahmed Al-Rajhi, Minister of Human Resources and Social Development.
Under the theme “Family and family guidance build strength from within in a changing world,” the Family Affairs Council in Riyadh organised the 7th edition of the 2024 Family Forum, which was opened during the launch.
Over 12 initiatives that address every family and societal need are part of the Family Guidance Strategy. Its main goals are to qualify and enhance the performance of family guidance professionals while also empowering them and enhancing their abilities. Planning and executing improves society’s comprehension of the function of family guidance and its advantageous effects in fostering family relationships, settling disputes, and promoting stability.
It also entails broadening the range of family services offered, extending the reach geographically, and serving the greatest number of recipients across the entire Kingdom. In order to reach 4,000 family counselling practitioners by the end of 2030, the ministry plans to license 500 practitioners in 2024.
Through the Family Counselling Strategy, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development enhances the efficacy and efficiency of social services while accomplishing the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 and the ministry’s social development plan.
