RIYADH — Saudi Arabia’s backing for Syria and Lebanon and their citizens was reiterated by the Council of Ministers on Tuesday. The Cabinet meeting in Riyadh, which was presided over by Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman, promised support for initiatives to restore the two nations’ natural standing in the Arab and global communities. Salman Al-Dossary, the minister of media, told the Saudi Press Agency after the meeting that the Council reaffirmed this stance while talking about the results of Prince Faisal bin Farhan’s recent trips to Syria and Lebanon as minister of foreign affairs.
In order to serve shared interests and advantages, the Cabinet stated its expectation that the formation of the Strategic Partnership Council between the governments of Saudi Arabia and Italy would help to improve bilateral communication and cooperation at all levels.
The Saudi delegation’s attendance at the World Economic Forum’s annual meeting in Davos, Switzerland, was praised by the Cabinet, which said it detailed the ongoing advancements made towards the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 as well as the projects and contributions that are transforming the world economy, encouraging revolutionary innovation, and releasing human potential.
