Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Education, Yousef Al-Benyan, took part in a Saudi-Australian Business Council meeting in Sydney to highlight investment opportunities in the Kingdom’s education sector and strengthen international cooperation in line with Saudi Vision 2030.
According to the Saudi Press Agency, Al-Benyan outlined the ministry’s ongoing efforts to build a modern, world-class learning environment and discussed several areas for collaboration with Australian counterparts. These included launching new scholarship and student exchange programs, developing cutting-edge educational infrastructure and technologies, and expanding opportunities for joint academic initiatives.
He also emphasized the importance of advancing scientific research in fields such as health, energy, and artificial intelligence, while proposing joint educational programs to enhance professional qualifications. Special attention was given to supporting initiatives for persons with disabilities to ensure inclusivity within the education system.
Al-Benyan reaffirmed Saudi Arabia’s commitment to backing investors in the education sector through favorable regulations and strategic support. He stressed that education serves as a cornerstone of sustainable development and a driving force for innovation in the Kingdom’s future.
