Saudi Virtual Hospital Wins Health Award

Saudi Virtual Hospital Wins Health Award

RIYADH: At the ninth Zimam Digital Health Forum in Dubai, the Ministry of Health’s Seha Virtual Hospital and the Innovation Empowerment Center took home the Zimam Digital Health Award in the category of Digital Health Organization of the Year.

According to the Saudi Press Agency, the prize honors their use of cutting-edge digital health techniques to raise the standard of treatment, make access easier, and increase the reach of healthcare. These programs complement Saudi Vision 2030’s Health Sector Transformation Program, which seeks to advance sustainable health.

Health organizations in the Middle East and North Africa that successfully implement digital health projects, strengthen local capacities, and improve patient outcomes are recognized with the Zimam Award. The Ministry of Health uses the Kingdom’s first virtual hospital in Riyadh to show how it uses cutting-edge medical technology to enhance operational effectiveness and service quality.

As part of the Kingdom’s initiatives to digitize the healthcare industry, Seha Virtual Hospital was established in February 2022. It seeks to offer the highest-quality virtual health services both domestically and internationally, as well as to advance the culture of virtual medicine in healthcare.
