RIYADH: The Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority has started the National Cross-Disciplinary Curriculum for University Students in Data and AI. It gives college students the basic skills they need to analyse data and use AI tools responsibly to help them learn, work, and make decisions.
The Saudi Press Agency said on Friday that the launch happened at the International Conference on Data and AI Capacity Building. The SDAIA put on the conference, which took place on January 28 and 29. They worked with King Saud University on academics, the Human Capability Development Program on knowledge, and Elm on strategy.
The curriculum is meant for all undergraduate students at Saudi universities, regardless of their major. It lets institutions make a required data and AI course for all academic programs, which makes sure that every student has at least a basic level of knowledge and skills.
It also makes it possible for those who aren’t experts in computer science to apply AI in their areas by providing tools, apps, and use cases. The program helps students get the skills they need to get jobs and put them to use.
