According to the Saudi Press Agency, the Saudi Arabian Cabinet reaffirmed on Tuesday the Kingdom’s unceasing efforts to stop Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people by working with its allies on a political and humanitarian front.
Following attacks by Hamas terrorists on Israeli settlements that border the enclave, Israel has been conducting a destructive land and air incursion within the Gaza Strip for almost nine months.
In order to put a stop to the fighting and provide assistance for the more than 2 million people residing in Palestinian land, the Kingdom and its allies have been advocating for a ceasefire.
Ministers also praised the finding of seven gas and oil resources in the Eastern Province and Empty Quarter of the Kingdom.
A reservoir of light Arabian oil, two unconventional oil fields, two natural gas fields, and two natural gas reservoirs were discovered by Saudi Aramco, according to Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman on Monday, SPA said.
The ministers stated that awarding contracts for the second phase of the Jafurah gas field development and the third stage of the master gas system expansion falls within ongoing development and economic diversification efforts and strengthens the Kingdom’s leadership position in global energy markets during the meeting, which was presided over by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in Jeddah.
On Sunday, Saudi Aramco approved sixteen deals totaling around $12.4 billion for the second phase of development at Jafurah.
